The annual Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE) conference was recently held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart. The conference is the premier conference on education research held annually in Australia.
The RCH Education Institute sent three delegates to the conference who each presented an individual paper.
Our Senior Project Officer, Dr Liza Hopkins, presented her findings on the staff response to mental health issues in senior secondary students in Australia. Dr Tsharni Zazryn, Research Fellow, presented preliminary findings of the Children’s Learning at The Royal Childrens Hospital (CL@RCH) project, and Allesha Fecondo, RCH teacher, presented on the impact of iPads on teaching and learning in the hospital.
