VicFEAT 2010 - for GPs and Paediatricians
February - November 2010
The VicFEAT series is popular among paediatricians throughout Australia and is offered live at the RACP (Royal Australian College of Physicians) and through satellite link-up throughout the country. Sessions include a few case presentations, plenty of open discussion between all participants (in person and by video-conference) then feedback, recommendations and brief presentations from a panel of experts. A number of GPs joined the first FEAT session for 2009, and we hope you too can participate in one or all 5 sessions. All are on a Wednesday evening from 7-8.30pm.
Advanced Paediatric Life Support Courses (APLS)
Be prepared: improve your skills in the early management of acutely ill and injured children. The APLS course is popular and needs to be booked several months in advance. Intending APLS candidates must register on-line and be placed on a waiting list. Letter of offer for courses are sent out about three months before the course.
