About Signage
Signage at the Royal Children's Hospital is partly done in-house to save costs although external signage needs to be outsourced. As the hospital is a huge place, navigation is encouraged via lift colours:

Front Entry Building (FEB) - Silver Lifts,

Main Building (to clinics) - Orange lifts

Main Building (to wards) - Blue Lifts

Northwest Building (NWB) - Pink lifts

South East Building (SEB) - Green Lifts
How can you help?

Direct visitors to your area by referring to correct lift colours

Alter your patient correspondence to reflect the correct directions to your department listing Department name, floor level, building, lift colour (ie. Your appointment has been made for Thursday 25th March 2010, please present to ward 7West, 7th floor, Main Building Blue Lifts)
