When you first arrive on Butterfly Ward, you will be given a COCOON Pack, which will include a communication board. You can fill it in and put it up around your baby’s bed.

This board allows you to communicate with the bedside staff about things, such as what your baby likes or dislikes, what you are interested in doing for your baby yourself, and when you will be in next.

This is a huge help for staff when they are planning their work for the day and means the staff can save activities for when you are present.
