Pump management:
High BGLs/Line failure/ketones
Pump failure - pump malfunction and plan for changing to insulin injections
Call the hospital for advice on 9345 5522 and ask for "diabetes sick day service" if:
unsure about insulin dose adjustment
Child is drowsy or lethargic
Child has 3 vomits, 3 diarrhoea or abdominal pain
Blood ketones at 1.0 mmol/L or more on injections or if on an insulin pump ketones are 0.6 or more
