Who is considered an older worker?

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, workers over 45 are defined as a ‘mature age’ worker as they represent a major segment of the population facing workplace discrimination ( Human Rights.gov.au and Age Discrimination Act 2004). It is essential at the RCH that we remember the importance of age diversity.
