  • Research Ethics and Governance does not provide archiving services directly to researchers. 

    If you want to archive hard copy research documents, please contact Iron Mountain directly. This is the preferred service provider of The Royal Children's Hospital. 

    To assist researchers to independently archive study documents, the following RCH procedures are provided:

    These documents provides specific guidance on essential documents, retention time frames and the process for archiving for clinical research records on the RCH Campus. Compliance with these procedures will ensure that all materials associated with a study are stored securely in line with Australian and International Guidelines, and enables the study to be reconstructed in the future as may be required by law.
