Mr Chris Harris completed his medical and orthopaedic training in the UK, followed by fellowships in limb reconstruction, trauma and paediatric orthopaedics in Melbourne and the USA before joining the orthopaedic consultant team at Royal Children’s Hospital in 2007. He also works as a consultant surgeon in the public system at Western Health, Melbourne where he treats both adult and paediatric patients. In both settings, he has specialist interests in limb reconstruction surgery (including Ilizarov method) and skeletal dysplasias. Chris regularly teaches at Australian Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society and Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society meetings and is passionate about orthopaedic education for all members of the healthcare team.
