Kemble Wang is both an Australian and American-trained
orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest is the upper limb,
particularly reconstruction of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pathologies in young
patients.
After completing his medical degree at the University of
Melbourne, Mr Kemble Wang did his orthopaedic training in the Victorian program
of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He then completed sub-specialty
fellowship training in upper extremity surgery at the Melbourne Orthopaedic
Group. This was followed by a 12 month clinical fellowship at Boston Children's
Hospital, Harvard University, USA, an international centre of excellence
specialising in upper limb reconstruction in young patients. Kemble also
completed fellowships in neuromuscular orthopaedics in Minnesota, USA, and
spent time with leading upper limb surgeons at the Hospital for Special Surgery,
New York. His broad experience at multiple international centres gives him a
wide practice scope and the ability to assist patients with a variety of
complex problems. He has written extensively in the upper extremity and
paediatric orthopaedic literature and has publications in many well respected
orthopaedic journals.
