Rodrigo Teixeira is a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon originally from Brazil, where he began his career doing burn surgery and general plastics. In 2007, he came to Australia to obtain further fellowship training. He developed special interest in Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery, as well as Paediatric Plastic Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. During these amazing years, he had the opportunity to meet and work with great people, that had a strong and
positive influence on his career.
After training at RCH and the Alfred Hospital, Rodrigo obtained his Plastic Surgery Specialist Qualification (FRACS) and became a consultant Plastic Surgeon.
Rodrigo and his family are now Australian citizens.
Special Interests
Facial
reconstruction is extremely rewarding and looking after children with cleft lip and
palate always puts a smile on his face.
