Citrate Must be venous or arterial collection, NOT capillary

MUST BE FILLED TO THE LINE OTHERWISE THE SAMPLE WILL BE REJECTED

INR, APTT & Fibrinogen will be performed. Specify other tests e.g. Thrombin Time, Reptilase Time, D-dimer if required. State if patient is receiving anticoagulation therapy, and specify nature of therapy. State if specimen(s) are collected from an indwelling line. Must arrive in Lab within 1 hour of collection.
