This test may include C2, C5-C9, factor B, factor H and factor I

Lab Notes: 

Separate ASAP and store serum at -20oC (or below) within 1 hour of collection. If more than one of the above tests is requested, freeze multiple (3) aliquots. Place aliquots in immunology's frozen samples container in the CSR freezer.

THESE REQUESTS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE IMMUNOPATHOLOGIST BEFORE THEY ARE SENT. IMMUNOLOGY LAB TO OBTAIN THE APPROVAL AND NOTIFY SPECIMEN RECEPTION EXTERNAL SENDING WHEN TO SEND. 

Send to testing laboratory on dry ice. Do not pack dry ice in a sealed container.  Use appropriate PPE.
