Specimen Type: Liver Biopsy
Minimum Volume: 1 to 2 mg of fresh liver biopsy
Comments: Place biopsy in sterile plastic specimen container (5mL plain tube, MSU jar). Place on saline soaked gauze, do not use any preservatives or heparin in the container.

Store specimen at 4 degrees.
Send specimen to testing laboratory at 4 degrees.
