Specimen Reception Page the Children's Cancer Centre Data Managers on pager 5694 when the specimen is received in the laboratory to notify them to pick up the specimen. They will send the specimen to the testing laboratory in Sydney.

 Stamp the request form with the 'urgent specimen' stamp and record time CCC was contacted and your initials.

AFTER HOURS: Mon - Thurs keep at room temperature; Frid-Sun: Freeze whole blood at -80oC and page CCC Data manager on 5694 on next Business Day to collect (leave note for Specimen Reception to follow up)
