LAB NOTES:

These tissue specimens MUST be placed in the -70oC freezer LS-F-002 as soon as they arrive in the laboratory to prevent denaturation of the mitochondrial enzymes. The speciment are to be placed in the 'Mitrochondial lab' box in Specimen Reception -70oC freezer. Specimen MUST be transported to the Mitrochondrial lab on DRY ICE. Call VCGS on 8341 6234 to pick up specimens without delay.

Do not pack dry ice in a sealed container. Use appropriate PPE
