Recommended transport/storage conditions

  • Copan eSwab Mini Tip FLOQSwab (orange cap): 2-8oC for 7 days
  • Dry swab: 2-8oC for 3 days
  • Urine: Transport at RT for 24 hours, 2-8oC for 4 days
  • Semen (Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae only): 2-8oC for 7 days

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

For same day testing, specimens must arrive by 10:30am Monday - Friday (RCH)
