Department Volunteers are specifically recruited through departments within the RCH to work exclusively for them, usually for a short period of time or for the length of a project.  Please note NOT ALL departments take on volunteers.

Department Volunteers are not recruited through the RCH Volunteer Service.  The RCH Volunteer Service is responsible for the registration of these volunteers on our database, and facilitating a brief Induction to the hospital.  The day to day management/supervision of Department Volunteers is the responsibility of the specific department.
